ARTISAN CHEESEMAKING AT THE MONASTERY
In Switzerland’s only publically accessible artisan cheesemaking production within a monastery, you can watch cheese being hand-produced and regional milk being crafted into specialities, such as the famous “Engelberger Klosterglocke” from 10:00am to 3:00pm daily.

We offer entertaining and informative demonstrations for groups, clubs and corporates, covering a variety of topics - all to do with cheese.

SHOP

Our extensive product range consists of our own and regional speciality cheeses, including goat’s and sheep’s milk cheese, alp cheese, homemade yoghurts and fresh whey. We also offer a selection of souvenirs, gifts and whey-based cosmetics.

BISTRO

Enjoy delicious homemade food in our comfortable bistro. We serve warm and cold dishes, both with and without cheese. While eating, you can watch cheese being produced by our artisan cheesemakers.
